As part of the promotions leading up to the England Rugby World Cup, the RFU commissioned us to create an interactive installation that turned fans into their favourite England rugby players. Each fan started the process by answering a questionnaire then playing a tactical rugby game on a touch screen. The fan selected their favourite player and looked into a webcam. They could then watch as their face morphed into the rugby player's features.
The image of the rugby player was then automatically added with software to a locker room scene, with the fan's name on a plaque and the score from the tactical touch screen games added as England caps. The photo was then printed out and given to fan.
